Sometimes it’s good to be alone.

Human is a social being with profound emotions. We build relationships to make our lives happy and comfortable. We always need a person to share all your joys and distress . What happens if one day you got up and you realize that you are isolated ?

I was going through the same situation an year ago .I was on my vacation from college . Days were going so smoothly for me .Then the pandemic hit and I was stuck at home with my boring online classes. The cheerful days I had was no longer with me and I was stuck in the four walls of my house .And slowly loneliness started to fill my life . That was the time I realized that ,I don’t own my happiness . I can’t be happy alone .My happiness depended on who was around , my friends ,my partner. After first few months I couldn’t tolerate the situation I was going through.

I couldn't bear it anymore so I decided to find my own happiness. Why can’t I be alone ? Why couldn't I find happiness in myself ? These thoughts helped me to be a cheerful person and to be happy all by myself .Many would have gone through the exact same situation that I have endured .So these are some ways I practiced to own my happiness.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

When you start believing in yourself you can conquer the greatest fear inside you and chase your dreams and achieve it .So say to your inner self that you are confident and positive.

TRY TO FIND A HOBBY

If you keep a busy schedule and do productive things then you can really get rid of overthinking. You can continue your old hobbies , start a new hobby . You can also polish your old talents and become better . Cooking , reading , planting like activities can help you have a confident day.

LEARN TO MEDITATE

Meditation produces a deep state of relaxation and a calm mind, providing mental benefits. Calm down yourself, release your stress and think straight to achieve your goals to be a self contained person.

ALWAYS HAVE A POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

If you start thinking how sucked up you are ,and how things can get even more worse and messy then you are driving yourself to a wrong direction . Come back ,calm yourself and try to convince yourself that you are responsible for your negative thoughts. Accept your negative thoughts and help yourself to find positivity in your negative thoughts.

EXCERSISE

Exercise can improve your physical and mentally health. It can improve your physique and keep you away from many diseases.

It can also improve the mental state and keep you positive all day. It relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, and boosts your overall mood.
